Inside one of the beautiful area of the island, Il Faro, at a short distance from the sea and near to commercial centre, we find an apartment at the top floor of an ancient palace ‘900 style.

At the entrance it looks as a common palace of all the Mediterranean islands: Little court with plants and flowers sunny and shadow at the same time: fresh in hot summer days.

Longer from tourist itinerary and so remained the same; a little island of fishermen with several house rented to few tourists,  some bar and restaurants, and a lot of beautiful land to discover, place to see, desert beach to swim, landscape to enjoy.

3SKM Procida is the most little of Neapolitan archipelago with its white houses full of arch blue windows and all looking on the sea.

Three harbour. The ferry berth is also the tourist boat area, and the place where,  at sunset, fishermen return back with their boats full of fishing and the sky upon them covered by birds that follow the boats hoping to eat something..

In the harbour we can find good restaurants where to eat the daily gold of fishermen, as it arrive at the berth.

Another harbour is where fishing  boats go to rest and to repair. Their house.  It is so little and full of colours, and sounds, and smell  the seems fantastic. It’s impossible to describe; only a good portrait can stop for us this suggestion. 

Procida road. Little and full of with house. So reduced that the most are closed to car traffic.  We can lost on this road. Several time the door of an ancient palace is semiclosed.

Try to enter! There is a Paradise of plants, so  rich to seem dark; and arch, flowers, in garden so great….

The silence is absolute, mystic.

Procida is the land of  romantic and lonely heart,  the island of lovers.

As we enter at home, She appears to us as one of the most beautiful and suggestive houses in a typical Procida style.

The house has all the wall full of beautiful pictures style naif ,  ancient portraits, and a lot of images of Saints. Rich of sculptures ancient trade furnished,  full of objects, books; Stereo with a great collection of long plain disks.

There is a double bedroom with private bathroom and a window looking on Procida, the sea and Capo Miseno, the extreme point of Pozzuoli Gulf.. A double bed ancient trade.

All remind to us an ancient island house. Bathroom has a blue window, and so all the room is blue painted

by sun ray. The second double bedroom is on the top floor. There are a great gold mirror, just in front to the window, a  little vessel and all the details make this room as the cabin of an ancient sailboat.

There is a great square terrace, partly covered by bamboo canes, with table and chairs and sun beds. We can rest at the shadow under the canes, or take a sun bath on the terrace, looking on the sea, the magic Land of Phlegraean area, and over the sea; the Vesuvius and Sorrento Coast….

This room is completely independent with bathroom inside the room.

Hosting:  The rimancence of the house is a great living room where we can find the family and where we can have a dinner with the hosts. A kitchen linked to living.

The hospitality is perfect. The owner is an artist that has painted the most of the pictures at the wall and created the majority of the great quantity of sculptures (birds) present in the house.

Bed&Breakfast, division of the owner house. Owner will give to you a part of their house for a temporary vacation. They take care of their guests.

Home cleaning every day and a change every three days and breakfast offered in living room every day.

Linking: Procida is linked with three  city harbour:  POZZUOLI is the nearest; It’s reachable only by ferry boat in 40 minutes. Low prices and frequent departure summer and winter. From Pozzuoli with local train called CUMANA  it’s possible to reach Naples historical centre in twenty minutes.

Other ports:  Napoli Mergellina. Only fast boats (hidrofoils and jet). 30 minutes. Prices a little bit more elevated. Near to Mergellina terminal train station –NAPOLI MERGELLINA-. Departure of IC and ES train for every great cities of Italy; metro train for city centre.

The third port is MOLO BEVERELLO in the city centre –Municipio Square-. Hidrofoils and ferry (thirty minutes and one hour) from Procida to the heart of Naples, historical centre.
